Since the day forty farmers met under a tree near Byron Bay in 1895, and united to become the North Coast Dairy Co-Operative (Norco) we’ve had one mission: To build a richer future for dairy farmers by making products so incredibly good, Australia will always be hungry for more. Here’s the story of how we made that happen.

Great taste begins with great care. Since 1895, Norco farmers have been selecting bloodlines that help their herds thrive in our region’s lush climate, while producing milk that’s creamier, richer in protein and essential nutrients.
Supported by Norco agronomists and animal nutrition experts, our farmers now use the latest research to provide even greater care for the magnificent herds at the heart of our products.

Our dairy region feels like nowhere else on Earth. Drive through the Norco farm regions, and you’ll notice nature feels greener and wilder. Between sub-tropical heat and volcanic soils, everything grows fast and thick, especially our pastures.

Every Norco product contains 130+ years of dairy craft and innovation. We were there when milk was graded by sight. We were making butter that made waves overseas before planes existed to transport it there.
