Chocolate Brownie Mochi with Diana Chan

Serves – 12 pieces

Bake Time – 30-40 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup Mochiko flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated white sugar
1½ tsp baking powder
5 tbs Norco Unsalted Butter, melted
2 large eggs
350ml Norco Our Finest Full Cream Milk
1tsp vanilla extract
3tbs dark chocolate, chopped 

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20 x 20 cm baking pan with baking paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the Mochiko flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and baking powder until evenly mixed.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until fully combined. Add in the dry ingredients and mix until evenly blended.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the surface with chopped dark chocolate.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the mochi is set. Allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.
